Matt Lipman

Matt Lipman is an executive recruiter with The Birmingham Group.  He started at the firm in 2022.  His approach to recruiting is simple, establish great relationships with both candidates and clients and be open, honest, and listen so that at the end of the process all parties get their desired outcome.  Matt prides himself on always wanting to help others and this position allows him to make a positive lasting impact on the clients, candidates, and their families.

Prior to his experience in executive recruiting, Matt worked in Football at both the professional and collegiate levels for 17 years.  In his last role at Temple, he served as the Chief of Staff where he oversaw an entire program. His duties included overseeing, recruiting, player development, academics, travel, compliance, social media, and budgeting.  The organization, relationship building, fast-paced environment, and problem-solving required as Chief of Staff mirror those needed to be successful as a recruiter.

Matt currently lives in New Jersey with wife and two children.
