Assistant Project Manager – Fort Myers, FL

An established and highly respected commercial general contractor in the Naples/Fort Myers market is seeking a construction Assistant Project Manager (APM) with proven ground-up commercial construction experience. This is a prime opportunity for a motivated APM to grow into a Project Manager role and advance your career with a company that values long-term success and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years serving as an Assistant Project Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Experience managing projects $20M+ strongly desirable
• Stable work history with relevant commercial construction background
• Strong ground-up experience (renovation and tenant improvement also considered)
• Background across healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, or mid/high-rise projects a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support all phases of project execution: safety, schedule, profitability, quality, and client satisfaction
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships through communication, proposals, and presentations
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
• Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate closely with project team members and business partners
