LEAD ESTIMATOR ~ Philadelphia, PA
Seeking an experienced Lead Estimator to run full-scope estimating (all trades) for public sector projects. Our client has grown consistently and is now scaling operations to match—making this a great opportunity for someone who can take a full set of plans, lead trade coverage, and deliver accurate, complete estimates that set projects up for success.
What You’ll Do
- Lead estimating from plans/specs through final pricing and turnover
- Produce full-scope estimates across all trades
- Manage subcontractor outreach, bid packages, and bid leveling
- Validate quantities, pricing assumptions, and inclusions/exclusions
- Partner with operations for a clean handoff and stronger processes
What We’re Looking For
- Strong estimating background in public work (K-12, municipal, government) preferred
- Experience on projects ($50M+) is a plus
- Proven ability to lead full-scope estimates and manage trade coverage
- Experience building budgets and estimates from conceptual through hard bid
- High-level understanding of construction means and methods
- Organized communicator who can drive deadlines and accountability with subs and internal teams
- Comfortable working in a growing company where systems are being strengthened and improved
Compensation & Benefits
- $150,000–$200,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
- Annual performance-based bonus
