Senior Civil Project Manager ~ Central Florida

An established real estate development and construction firm is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to help lead large-scale, long-term land development projects in Central Florida.

This role offers direct involvement in the development of large-scale commercial and industrial land projects, supporting a strong pipeline of future work. You will act as the developer’s representative, overseeing sitework and ensuring infrastructure aligns with the overall development vision. This is a high-impact position requiring strong leadership across civil scope, project execution, and stakeholder coordination.

What You’ll Do

• Manage multiple civil and land development projects across a large master-planned development
• Oversee site development operations including roadway, utilities, grading, and infrastructure 
• Review underground utility layouts and coordinate infrastructure
• Act as the developer’s representative
• Monitor project budgets, cost control, and overall financial performance
• Drive project timelines and maintain progress against milestones
• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to company standards

Must-Haves

• 8-10+ years of experience in civil construction or land development
• Background with a site contractor, heavy civil contractor, general contractor, or civil engineering firm
• Experience supporting large commercial development projects
• Exposure to developer-side project management
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, and utility coordination
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and site operations
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
