Superintendent ~ Metro Detroit
The Birmingham Group is partnering with a family-owned contractor with decades of success to hire a Superintendent to support a growing pipeline of commercial, industrial, and water/wastewater projects.
This role is ideal for a Superintendent with strong commercial construction experience who is either experienced in or interested in transitioning into water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will lead field operations across a mix of ground-up and rehabilitation work, with increasing exposure to municipal and infrastructure projects over time.
Qualifications
- Strong experience( 5-20 years) as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Ability to manage ground-up projects and site operations independently
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and field teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to water and wastewater projects, including:
- CSO stations
- Pump stations
- Treatment plants
- Water distribution facilities
- Experience with rehabilitation or upgrade projects
- Ground-up water/wastewater construction experience is a plus
