Project Manager ~ Water and Wastewater Construction ~ Orlando, FL

A growing General Contractor with a strong presence in Florida’s infrastructure market is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects in the Orlando area.

This is an opportunity to join a contractor with a substantial backlog of work, strong employee retention, and an active growth strategy throughout Florida. The ideal candidate has experience managing water/wastewater infrastructure projects, understands municipal utility construction, and can independently lead projects from preconstruction through closeout.

What You’ll Do

Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout
Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and municipal stakeholders
Oversee project financial performance and cost control
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, municipalities, and project partners

Must-Haves

Direct experience managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Experience with pump stations, municipal utilities, and civil infrastructure
Ability to independently manage projects from start to finish
Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of construction experience
Proven success delivering municipal utility and infrastructure projects
Experience working directly with municipalities and utility authorities
Strong tenure and career stability, ideally 6+ years with the same employer
Local to the Orlando market or strong ties to Central Florida

The strongest candidate will be a Water/Wastewater Project Manager who has built a career delivering municipal infrastructure projects, has a track record of long-term employment, and can successfully run projects with minimal oversight.
