BIM Coordinator / Senior BIM Coordinator
Location: Boston area, or fully remote anywhere in the United States
Salary: Up to $130,000 + annual bonus
The Opportunity
A well-established New England electrical and low-voltage technologies contractor is adding a BIM Coordinator to its VDC team, with a genuine path to Senior BIM Coordinator for the right person. This is electrical construction coordination from the contractor side, working in Revit and Evolve on real projects that get built.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate electrical and low-voltage models across healthcare, education, industrial and commercial projects.
Own clash detection and resolution, working directly with the general contractor and the other trades.
Model to build, producing coordinated, constructible models that crews in the field can install from.
Grow into prefabrication coordination over time as the prefab group expands.
What You Bring
- Electrical construction coordination experience earned at an electrical contractor
5 years of coordination and modeling experience on construction projects using Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
Candidates with mechanical, plumbing, or fire protection contractor experience will also be considered
5 years of drafting experience on electrical projects is preferred
Working experience with Evolve
Familiarity with Autodesk 360 and Trimble Point Creator
Familiarity with applicable building codes and safety regulations
CAD/BIM coordination background in a construction, architecture, or engineering environment across multiple software platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Bachelor’s degree
Candidates with mechanical, plumbing, or fire protection contractor experience will also be considered
