Project Manager

Project Manager ~ Philadelphia, PA

We are looking for Project Manager in Philadelphia to lead public work projects across K-12, municipal, and government clients. This family-owned GC has grown consistently and is now scaling operations to match. This is a great role for a hands-on PM who wants ownership, field presence, and the chance to improve how projects are run as the business expands.

What You’ll Do

• Run public work projects from start to closeout (budget, schedule, quality, and coordination)
• Visit job sites and walk projects directly with subcontractors
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors to keep crews aligned and productive
• Manage invoicing, pay applications, and cost tracking to keep billing accurate and timely
• Handle change orders, scope alignment, and subcontract management
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and project stakeholders
• Help improve processes as the company works through growth-related “growing pains”

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Construction Project Manager (public work experience strongly preferred)
• Background with K-12, municipal/public, or government projects
• Strong subcontractor management: scheduling, coordination, and accountability
• Solid cost control skills: invoicing, budget tracking, and change management
• Comfortable managing multiple projects
• Organized, proactive communicator who keeps jobs moving

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000–$160,000 base salary (depending on experience)
