Commercial Superintendent – Northern Michigan

Location: Northern Michigan (with optional statewide travel)

We’re seeking experienced Commercial Superintendents for well established General Contractors in Northern Michigan. Their project portfolio includes healthcare, K-12, and other commercial construction, giving you the chance to lead varied, meaningful projects right in your own backyard.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee day-to-day operations on commercial construction projects, including healthcare and K-12 facilities
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site crews
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, schedule, and budget expectations
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project teams, owners, and inspectors
• Maintain accurate job site documentation and progress reporting
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects (healthcare and/or K-12 experience a plus)
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of commercial construction means and methods, codes, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple trades and stakeholders
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
