Project Manager – Ground-Up Commercial Construction ~ Metro Detroit
Are you a hands-on Commercial Project Manager who enjoys taking projects from cradle to grave? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing construction team where you’ll have a direct impact on operations and long-term success.
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all phases of construction — from preconstruction estimating and bidding to project execution and closeout. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership to help expand the team and strengthen project delivery as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage full project lifecycle from bid to completion — including estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination

Develop detailed takeoffs and competitive estimates for ground-up and renovation projects

Oversee field activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to maintain strong communication and relationships

Provide leadership and mentorship as the company expands its project management and estimating capacity
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Estimator in the construction industry

Ground-up construction experience preferred

Strong technical understanding of construction methods, drawings, and cost analysis

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and see them through from start to finish
