This is a great chance for a Project Manager from Metro Detroit to join a growing national contractor. The company is known for its work in education, retail, and manufacturing. You will lead ground-up design build projects, many of which are charter or private schools. Because of the fast pace and design coordination, you will stay involved from start to finish.
What You Will Do
As a Project Manager Metro Detroit, you will lead multiple jobs and manage teams in the field. You will also coordinate with design partners and clients. Since most projects are ground-up, site knowledge and planning skills are key.
- Oversee all phases of construction for school and commercial projects
- Work on projects that average $15M
- Manage subcontractors and schedules
- Travel to job sites when needed
- Ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction
What You Need
The right Project Manager candidate will bring strong ground-up experience. In addition, you should be able to manage multiple projects and work closely with clients and design teams.
- Experience managing private and charter school construction
- Ability to run 2–3 projects at once
- Hands-on design build experience
- Willing to travel as needed
- Strong communication and leadership
