Superintendent – Flint, MI
A well-established Michigan-based General Contractor — 50+ years in operation — is looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead commercial and industrial projects across mid-Michigan and the Metro Detroit area.
This is a stable, financially strong company that has built its reputation on consistent, quality work. They don’t chase flashy projects. They build long-term client relationships, deliver on schedule, and take care of the people doing the work.
Salary: $85,000 – $125,000 | Confidential Search
What You’ll Do
- Run field operations from mobilization through closeout on ground-up commercial and light industrial projects
- Manage subcontractors, own the schedule, and enforce site safety independently
- Serve as the primary point of contact between field and project management office
- Manage daily logs, RFIs, safety documentation, and field compliance
- Lead crews and subcontractors across multiple scopes and project phases
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
- Commercial ground-up experience required
- Ability to manage projects independently and drive schedule without daily oversight
- Strong subcontractor coordination and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Light industrial project experience
- OSHA 30 certification
- Michigan market familiarity — mid-Michigan or Metro Detroit
