A colleague recommended "The Birmingham Group". I forwarded my resume and had an initial conversation with Nikki. We discussed my career and experience, as well as my expectations and needs. Within a couple days she informed me that Brian would be contacting me to further discuss my situation.

The process really began moving forward with Brian's involvement. Brian was a stickler for detail. He asked very good questions that allowed me to paint a picture for him regarding my experience as well as the course I would now embark on. We had 3 such conversations that were building blocks to enable him to properly research and determine the best fit for me.

Within 2 weeks he presented 2 potential opportunities for me. We discussed each for its merits as well as possible detriments. We both agreed on the proper choice. Brian then presented me to his client. After the first interview, I felt comfortable and positive that Brian had represented me well. Brian and I then discussed the feedback he received from his client. This was very helpful to formulate my strategy for the second interview and key on points that would ultimately lead to an offer. Brian asked that I discuss my strategy with him prior to the second meeting. In that discussion with Brian, he presented me with what he thought the terms of the offer would be.

It was virtually exactly what he predicted. My transition into the company was smooth and I was quickly able to take the reins of the division and create a positive impact.

Brian has checked in a couple times to see how I was doing, which I appreciated very much.
