The Electrical Estimator plays a critical role in delivering successful projects by accurately estimating costs, time, labor, materials, and equipment. From analyzing drawings and specifications to coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, this role is essential in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and assign responsibilities to the estimating team for each project.

Review and evaluate project documents, drawings, and bid specifications.

Calculate the cost of labor, materials, and equipment for electrical construction.

Perform cost analyses and evaluate value engineering options.

Identify conflicts, inconsistencies, and potential issues in bid documents.

Solicit and review pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.

Prepare bid forms, instructions, and other solicitation information.
Candidate Requirements:

5+ years of electrical estimating experience.

Proficiency in MS Office and industry-standard estimating software.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and proactive problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

Ability to build strong professional relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.

Strong organizational, leadership, and time management abilities.
